TGIF Freebies Friday May 24th

Wow, Gopi contacted me last eve, and is going away lucky her for the weekend, So I get to say "Happy Anniversary" today, myself (applause, applause). If you did not see yesterday's post we have gone down the road for 39 years, come what may. Young but so in love we have survived the trials together and the good times. Now on to the freebies. Before I forget , please if you even make one card Operation Write Home Blog is going on for our military families and service people. I mean, that is what this weekend is about.

Freebies for Thursday May 23rd.

Happy Thursday everyone. Exciting weekend coming up so we can start the summer. Right now in northern Michigan it is raining but it is a steady rain and we have officially had to cut the grass last weekend. The week-end promises to be a great sunny weekend and holiday. So get ready to get the sunblock on!
Oh, and I almost (no way) forgot tomorrow is my 39th wedding anniversary. Wow! I can honestly say we have the friendship and love I always hoped we would get, after we have weathered many storms in our lives.  I hope those who are starting out realize those words, for better, for worse, in sickness and health think long and hard. Life does change in a minute and what I have found out, it is like the roller coaster as you go up the   hill it is exhilarating, but, at the crest you see what you might face, you realize, it is more frightening and you can't get off at that point. So enough of my thoughts of commitment (pushing the soap box back in the closet.) Now, on to the freebies.

It's Tuesday May 14, 2013 and it's time for freebies!

Hello friends! Did you know that it's National Chicken Dance Day?  I love the chicken dance!  I have some fond memories of doing it and laughing and laughing at get togethers.  If you don't know how to do it.. You can see Lawrence Welk doing it here.  Yep, Lawrence Welk. I had to share it.. it made me smile.  I am too young to remember watching him, but this video is a keeper.. LOVE IT!  Hope it brings a smile to you today also!!  Enjoy your freebies while the chicken dance dances through your head.. (like it is doing to mine right now...hehe).
